In the last article, I told you about events that covered a very busy week last year. It was a stressful week that began with a cold, ended with a cold, and was filled with trauma, both with Hubby’s health and as to what was happening in our lives.
1 Hospitalization Turns into 2 - A Week of Worry
Hubby was surprised at my version of the events. He saw things a little different, as is expected from his perspective. He will start weighing in on several of the events we tell you about.

Hubby:
I was really appreciative that the good Lord saw fit to break the old car down when he did, before we had to have reliable transportation to hospitals that were nowhere close to the house.
The build up with the car issues really seem to fade into the background for me, because of what happened afterwards. I ended up spending three days in the hospital. Getting discharged from the first hospital, and not even making it in the house before I got a nice ambulance ride to a different hospital for two more days.
They tried to diagnose me with RSV and gave me multiple nose swabs, which are just so much fun. (I wish sarcasm would transmit in the written word.) They didn't know that it was or was not RSV. In fact they could not prove what it was but they needed something to put down so they could bill for it. It was all about how they would get paid.
All in all they never did give me any vaccine shots because none of the tests ever proved positive for a specific illness. The one person told me that they had a slight positive on RSV but they never even offered the vaccine, which they said they had.
When I went into the second hospital, contact with people in the ER gave my better half the flu. So she went home sick from my second hospital visit and would not have been able to take care of me. Thank the Lord that he provided her get enough time to get over it, and have somebody there to watch, so that she didn't have to pay attention to me.
All in all, by the time it was done we had a dependable vehicle and we're both home and regaining health. Thank the Lord.
